30x30mm Fan Shield
When fitting a 30x30mm cooling fan to the hotend mounting plate there will be space at either side as a result of the cutout in the plate made for a 40x40mm fan. In order to cover this I have made a shield to cover the empty space. If not provided the stl for this shield can be downloaded via the link below. The one advantage of fitting a 30x30 fan is that it allows easy access to the hotend vertical and rotational positioning screws. The disadvantage may be less hotend cooling efficiency. The choice of fan is optional depending on the type of hotend being used.
